Labor Compliance / Prevailing Wage
Fabiola M. Rivera has over ten years of litigation and compliance experience in Construction and Labor and Employment Law. Fabiola represents and counsels public schools, community college districts and State Universities with respect to construction disputes, facilities and contracts, contractor’s responsibility and labor matters, including prevailing wage enforcement and drafting, negotiating and administering project labor agreements. She also has experience representing public entities in employment and personnel matters, including Disability Accommodations, in State and Federal Courts and State Administrative Agencies and has successfully handled premises liability and injury cases. Fabiola has appeared and successfully handled cases before the California Court of Appeal, State and Federal courts as well as administrative agencies including the Department of Industrial Relations, the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board, the Divisions of Labor Standards and Enforcement, among others.
Fabiola received her Juris Doctor degree from Loyola Law School and her Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of California, where she graduated with honors. Fabiola is an avid sports enthusiast frequently cheering for the UCLA Bruins. Fabiola is fluent in Spanish and French.
